Finnish beverage company Olvi Group reported solid growth in the first half of 2026, according to an earnings call transcript released on Thursday. The company posted revenue of €342 million for the period, up 4.1% year-over-year, while net profit rose 6.3% to €41.5 million.
Olvi Group, which operates in Finland, the Baltics and Scandinavia, attributed the revenue increase to higher sales volumes and pricing adjustments across its core markets. The company’s beer segment remained the primary driver of growth, though non-alcoholic beverages also contributed to the expansion.
Despite the positive first-half performance, Olvi Group trimmed its full-year outlook. Management cited rising production costs, competitive pressures and softer demand in key export markets as factors influencing the revised guidance. The company now expects full-year net profit to decline by 2-4% compared with 2025, down from its prior forecast of stable to modest growth.
During the call, CEO Mikko Uosukainen emphasized the company’s focus on cost discipline and pricing strategies to mitigate margin pressures. He also highlighted ongoing investments in production efficiency and product innovation as long-term priorities.
Olvi Group’s shares were trading 1.2% lower in Helsinki following the release of the earnings call transcript.
