Brent crude for November delivery also gained 0.31%, trading at $90.82 per barrel. The Brent-WTI spread narrowed to $5.46 per barrel, reflecting relatively balanced regional pricing dynamics.
Technical levels showed WTI finding support near $84.23 and encountering resistance around $87.69, while the U.S. dollar index futures, which track the greenback against six major currencies, edged up 0.04% to $98.97. The modest dollar strength did not weigh materially on oil prices during the session.
