Nordson Corporation reported fiscal third-quarter earnings that topped analyst expectations, extending a run of record results as the industrial equipment supplier benefits from demand in packaging automation and electronics manufacturing.
The company posted earnings per share of $3.09 on revenue of $779.49 million for the quarter ended July 31, both exceeding the respective forecasts of $3.09 EPS and $779.49 million revenue. On a year-over-year basis, earnings rose 13.19% while revenue increased 5.12%. Sequential performance also strengthened, with EPS climbing from $2.86 and revenue from $741 million in the prior quarter.

The mean price target stands at $316.86, implying a 4.2% potential upside from Nordson’s closing price of $304.21 on Tuesday. The shares trade at a forward earnings multiple of 26.22 times, while the EPS estimate has remained unchanged over the past week and the past 60 days.
Nordson’s organic sales growth has been consistent, with first- and second-quarter growth both reported at 7%. Gross profit margin over the trailing twelve months reached 55.22%, while operating income grew 13.68% in the same period. The company’s end markets include consumer non-durables, medical devices, electronics manufacturing, and industrial applications, with tailwinds from electric vehicle production and packaging automation.
In March 2026, Nordson completed the acquisition of CapstanAG Systems to expand its precision agriculture footprint in North America. The deal follows a period of raised full-year guidance, with management lifting targets twice during the fiscal year. Nordson previously reported first-quarter EPS that exceeded consensus by 1.42% and revenue by 1.68%.
