Nanox Signs Distribution Deal for Imaging System in Costa Rica

Nanox Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ: NNOX) has signed a distribution agreement with SOLME RC, S.A. to market its Nanox.ARC imaging system in Costa Rica. The deal was announced by the Petach Tikva, Israel-based company on Sept. 10.

Under the agreement, SOLME will handle marketing, distribution, installation, training, and technical support for the Nanox.ARC and related services throughout Costa Rica.

SOLME, founded in 2012, is a registered supplier for the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social, the country's principal purchaser and provider of hospital services. The distributor markets medical equipment, replacement parts, consumables, and radiation protection products to both public and private healthcare institutions. SOLME is authorized by Costa Rica's Ministry of Health and Ministry of Finance to import and distribute medical equipment.

Commercialization of the Nanox.ARC will require regulatory registration, including an initial six-month proof-of-concept device registration period before full registration can be completed.

Costa Rica is Nanox's third Latin American market this year, following Argentina and Peru, according to Erez Meltzer, Nanox's chief executive officer and acting chairman.

The Nanox.ARC is a multi-source digital tomosynthesis system designed for 3D medical imaging. It is part of a broader Nanox ecosystem that includes the company's AI-based algorithms (Nanox.AI), cloud platform (Nanox.CLOUD), and teleradiology services via USARAD Holdings.
