Blockchain platform Monad reportedly offered early investors up to $60 million to cash out of their positions ahead of upcoming token unlocks. The liquidity program was introduced three months prior to the scheduled start of investor unlocks, arriving at a time when the network's MON token was trading below its public-sale price.
Despite the opportunity for early liquidity, almost all early investors declined the buyout offer. The rejection comes as a significant portion of the token's total supply remains outside of active circulation, setting the stage for potential market supply pressures as the unlock schedule approaches.
