Dubai-based Micropolis Robotics said on Monday it has been selected as a supplier of robotic solutions and Physical Artificial Intelligence to ADNOC, marking its entry into large-scale oil and gas operations. The Abu Dhabi-based energy group will deploy Micropolis’s autonomous mobile robots and Physical AI systems, which integrate autonomous mobility, artificial intelligence, and sensing technologies to operate in complex, high-risk industrial environments.
The partnership will support ADNOC’s operations through remote inspection, facility surveillance, environmental monitoring, operational data collection, and automation of routine or hazardous tasks. Micropolis, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and listed on NYSE American under the ticker MCRP, said the collaboration aligns with its strategy to expand into sectors including oil and gas, security, critical infrastructure, mobility, and public services.
Fareed Aljawhari, founder and CEO of Micropolis Robotics, said the oil and gas sector presents significant potential for autonomous technologies, particularly in environments where safety, reliability, and real-time intelligence are critical. He added that working within ADNOC’s ecosystem provides an opportunity to scale capabilities developed in the UAE to large-scale industrial operations globally.
