The buyback, executed via forward contracts, was conducted to meet obligations under the company’s long-term incentive plans. Magnum Ice Cream had previously announced plans to purchase up to 5.5 million shares through such contracts.
Daily trading data showed the company acquired shares at varying average prices. On August 18, 2026, it purchased 254,441 shares at €16.46 per share for €4.19 million. The following day, 406,707 shares were bought at €16.72 each, totaling €6.80 million. On August 20, the company acquired 309,896 shares at €16.82 per share for €5.21 million. The program concluded on August 21 with the purchase of 388,443 shares at €16.95 each, amounting to €6.58 million.
Trades were executed across three venues: Euronext (829,174 shares), CBOE DXE (420,492 shares), and Turquoise Europe (109,821 shares). The company operates in 80 markets globally and employs 19,000 people.
