Lightspeed Commerce Inc. said Rupal Hollenbeck will join its board of directors on Oct. 1, replacing Nathalie Gaveau, who will step down on Sept. 30.
Hollenbeck brings 30 years of experience in technology hardware, software and services, including roles as president and chief commercial officer at Check Point Software Technologies and chief marketing officer at Cerebras Systems and Oracle. She currently serves as president and chief business officer at NextSilicon, a company focused on artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, and is also a board member at Cequence Security.
Manon Brouillette, executive chair of Lightspeed’s board, said Hollenbeck’s operating leadership, commercial expertise and global perspective would strengthen the board. The company operates a point-of-sale and payments platform serving retail, golf and hospitality businesses across more than 100 countries.
Lightspeed is dual-listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker LSPD. The company was founded in Montreal in 2005.
