Liechtensteinische Landesbank reported a 15% increase in net profit for the first half of 2026, rising to CHF 105 million from the same period a year earlier. Operating income grew 0.9% to CHF 315.50 million, supported by a 5.9% rise in fee and commission income, which benefited from higher client asset volumes.
Operating expenses declined 6.8% to CHF 190.60 million, driven by lower personnel costs and the absence of integration expenses recorded in the prior-year period. Return on equity for the half-year stood at 8.8%, while earnings per share reached CHF 3.45.
The bank achieved record levels in business volume and client assets under management, with trading activity increasing amid geopolitical tensions during the period. Liechtensteinische Landesbank maintained its February 2026 outlook for the full year, projecting a solid business result despite expectations of persistent challenging market conditions due to ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainties.
