Latam Lithium Corp. has announced the scheduling of an annual general and special meeting for October 22, 2026, to vote on a three-for-one share consolidation. The company's board of directors stated that this move would provide greater flexibility to secure less-dilutive financing and advance its exploration strategy and project portfolio.
The proposed consolidation will exchange three common shares for one post-consolidation share. The current number of issued and outstanding common shares is approximately 35,344,009, which will be reduced to approximately 11,781,336 post-consolidation. Additionally, outstanding warrants and incentive stock options will be consolidated on the same basis.
The meeting will be held at the company's Vancouver office, located at Suite 520 - 470 Granville Street, at 09:00 PDT. Notice of the meeting and management information circular will be available on September 29, 2026, and meeting materials will be mailed on Tuesday. Shareholders who are eligible to vote will be determined as of September 3, 2026.
Latam Lithium is a Vancouver-based company focused on exploring and developing lithium mineral resource projects in the Americas. The company holds a 100% interest in the 5,363-hectare South of Otter gold project in Red Lake, Ontario.
