Jyske Bank said it repurchased 55,859 of its own shares during week 34 of 2026, according to an announcement on Monday.
The transactions were executed between August 17 and August 21 at an average price of DKK 1,052.73 per share, costing approximately DKK 58.8 million in total. The buyback forms part of a broader DKK 3 billion program approved in February and scheduled to run until January 29, 2027.
As of settlement, the bank holds 1,808,913 treasury shares, excluding holdings on behalf of clients and trading inventory. This represents 3.11% of the company’s issued share capital. The cumulative value of shares repurchased under the program has reached DKK 1.688 billion.
The transactions comply with EU Market Abuse Regulation (EU Regulation 596/2014) and the EU Delegated Regulation 2016/1052, which govern share buybacks in the bloc. Jyske Bank did not provide additional commentary on the repurchase activity.
