Israel’s TA-35 index advances 0.25% at close
Israel’s benchmark TA-35 index rose 0.25% on Tuesday, tracking modest gains in regional equities amid thin turnover.

Israel’s TA-35 index closed 0.25% higher on Tuesday, as domestic stocks tracked modest regional gains with limited trading activity.
The blue-chip gauge, which tracks the 35 largest and most liquid stocks on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, added 48.1 points to end at 19,390.2, according to exchange data. Turnover totaled 1.8 billion shekels ($480 million), below the recent daily average of 2.2 billion shekels.
Advancers outnumbered decliners by a narrow margin, with 19 stocks rising against 16 falling. Leading gains were seen in financials and technology shares, while energy and real estate names lagged. The broader TA-90 index, which includes an additional 55 mid-cap stocks, rose 0.18% to 1,245.7.
The modest advance followed a mixed regional session, with Gulf markets largely flat and European peers ending slightly lower. The shekel held steady at 3.75 per dollar, reflecting limited volatility in currency markets.
Analysts attributed the subdued trading to the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah, which reduced market participation. Broader macroeconomic conditions in Israel remained stable, with no major data releases or policy shifts during the session.
