Intuit has announced an expansion of artificial intelligence capabilities across its mid-market financial software portfolio, including QuickBooks, TurboTax and Credit Karma.
The company said the updates aim to automate routine tasks, improve accuracy and enhance user experience for small businesses and consumers. Specific features include AI-driven expense categorization in QuickBooks, automated tax document analysis in TurboTax and personalized financial insights in Credit Karma.
Intuit did not disclose financial terms for the AI integration, but emphasized the technology’s role in reducing manual work and improving decision-making for users. The updates follow prior AI deployments in the company’s consumer and small-business segments.
The move aligns with broader industry trends toward AI adoption in financial software, as competitors including Xero and Sage have also introduced AI features to streamline accounting and tax preparation.
