Intapp Inc. (NASDAQ: INTA) and Legora announced a partnership to integrate AI governance and time-tracking capabilities for law firms, addressing compliance and operational efficiency across global legal workflows.
The collaboration will link Legora’s AI governance platform with Intapp’s Walls for AI and Time solutions, enabling firms to enforce access controls and automatically capture billable time entries. Legora’s platform, used by over 100,000 legal professionals at more than 1,500 firms across 50 markets, will integrate with Intapp Walls for AI to apply ethical and regulatory safeguards to AI-driven tasks such as legal research, contract review, document drafting, and due diligence.
Intapp Time will capture structured usage data from Legora’s workflows to generate time entries automatically, streamlining billing processes. The companies also plan to develop joint workflows combining Legora Agent with Intapp’s Celeste AI system, though delivery will occur in phases with availability details to be shared with mutual customers.
Max Junestrand, co-founder and CEO of Legora, emphasized the need to balance AI adoption with client-mandated controls. "Firms want to put AI to work across both the practice of law and the business of law, but never at the expense of the controls their clients rely on," he said.
John Hall, chairman and CEO of Intapp, highlighted the complementary strengths of the partnership. The collaboration merges Legora’s legal practice capabilities with Intapp Celeste’s business operations solutions, he noted.
