The Holonym Foundation has launched its human.tech Wallet Protocol on the Ika Network, introducing a decentralized framework designed to support secure transactions for decentralized applications and AI agents.
The protocol, which operates across multiple blockchains including Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Sui, and Solana, eliminates the need for developers to rely on centralized entities for key management. Human.tech’s wallet protocol is currently available at no cost, with migration tools provided for existing service providers.
The integration with Ika Network expands the protocol’s capabilities by enabling decentralized policy enforcement for agentic payments. This addresses a key challenge in AI-driven finance: ensuring software agents act within predefined permissions without requiring full private key access. The system, branded as Squid Mode, enforces these policies in real time across all supported chains through a decentralized network of over 100 nodes.
Human.tech, a Delaware public benefit company under the Holonym Foundation, has issued more than 51 million credentials and protected 2.1 million accounts, safeguarding over $512 million in value against bot and duplicate-account attacks. The foundation was established in 2022 and is headquartered in the Cayman Islands.
Dr. Shady El Damaty, CEO of Holonym Foundation, emphasized the protocol’s chain-agnostic design, stating it removes dependency on centralized intermediaries. Nanak Nihal Khalsa, CTO and architect, highlighted the protocol’s suitability for agentic payments and compliance with government and enterprise standards. Omer Sadika, Co-Founder of Ika, noted that the system’s decentralized policy enforcement ensures agents operate within bounded permissions, mitigating risks of unauthorized actions.
