HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd. reported stronger-than-expected first-quarter results for fiscal 2027, with revenue and profit growth driving an 8.9% rise in its shares.
The blockchain infrastructure company, which operates high-performance data centers for digital asset mining, said revenue increased sequentially in the three months ended March 31, supported by higher Bitcoin prices and expanded hash rate capacity. Profit margins improved as operational efficiencies offset energy cost pressures.
HIVE’s shares rose 8.9% in early trading following the release of the earnings results, extending gains from the prior session. Analysts noted the company’s ability to scale operations while maintaining cost discipline as key drivers of the outperformance.
Management highlighted continued expansion of its data center footprint and strategic partnerships as catalysts for future growth. The company also reaffirmed its guidance for fiscal 2027, citing sustained demand for blockchain infrastructure amid increasing institutional adoption of digital assets.
HIVE Digital’s results follow a broader rally in crypto-related equities, with Bitcoin trading near recent highs and mining stocks benefiting from reduced volatility in energy markets.
