Hi-View Resources announced it has acquired a 100% interest in the Jim Property from an arm's length vendor. The consideration consists of 100,000 common shares, a cash payment of $5,000 and the granting of a 2% net smelter returns royalty to the vendor, with Hi-View retaining the right to buy back 1% of that royalty for $1,000,000.
The Jim Property lies in the Toodoggone gold and copper district of northern British Columbia, with the company’s operations based in Vancouver. It is adjacent to Thesis Gold & Silver’s land package and situated near Evergold Corp.’s Golden Lion project.
Historic work on the property dates back to 1988, when the JM showing was first documented.
Geologically, the property exhibits malachite staining with associated chalcopyrite along fracture planes, accompanied by quartz and calcite stringers within narrow shears. Copper sulphides and oxides, together with gold and silver values, are localized in fractures, shears and quartz‑calcite veining. A gossanous zone is visible at the surface.
Nick Horsley, chief executive officer of Hi-View Resources, said the acquisition adds to the company’s existing land position in the Toodoggone district and highlights the surface‑visible gossanous zone.
Hi-View’s other projects include the Golden Stranger Project, the Lawyers claims and the Borealis Project, which together cover more than 27,910 hectares.
