Heimstaden Bostad AB raised SEK 1.5 billion through a dual-tranche green bond issuance listed on Euronext Dublin.
The Swedish residential real estate group issued SEK 750 million in fixed-rate senior unsecured notes due August 2028 at a coupon of 3.268%. A further SEK 750 million in floating-rate notes maturing in August 2029 was priced at 3-month STIBOR plus 87 basis points. Joint bookrunners for the deal were Danske Bank, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank.
Proceeds will be allocated in line with the company’s Green Financing Framework, which received an "Excellent" Second-Party Opinion from Sustainable Fitch. The framework governs the use of proceeds for eligible green projects within the company’s European residential portfolio.
Heimstaden Bostad operates more than 156,000 homes across nine countries with a total property value of SEK 331 billion, according to company disclosures.
