Haidilao International Holding Ltd. shares advanced 6.3% to HK$12.13 on Wednesday, extending gains as the company reported first-half results that exceeded market expectations.
The Chinese hotpot restaurant operator posted revenue of RMB 22.337 billion for the six months ended June 30, an 8% increase from the prior-year period. Core operating profit rose 4.4% to RMB 2.513 billion, while net profit attributable to shareholders totaled RMB 1.767 billion. Earnings per share reached RMB 0.33, topping analyst forecasts.
The company highlighted a 121% year-over-year surge in delivery business revenue, underscoring its push beyond traditional dine-in services. Haidilao also declared an interim dividend of HKD 0.377 per share, payable on September 23, 2026.
The broader market provided support, with the Hang Seng Index gaining as much as 1% during the session. Haidilao’s stock, listed under ticker 6862, has become a notable outperformer amid China’s consumer recovery.
