Haidilao’s shares advanced 6.3% to HK$12.13 on Wednesday after the hotpot chain reported first-half earnings that exceeded analyst expectations.
The company posted revenue of RMB 22.337 billion for the six months ended June 30, up nearly 8% from the prior-year period. Core operating profit rose 4.4% to RMB 2.513 billion, while net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 1.767 billion. Earnings per share came in at RMB 0.33, topping consensus estimates.
The delivery segment delivered the strongest performance, expanding 121% year-over-year. The board also declared an interim dividend of HKD 0.377 per share, payable on September 23, 2026. The broader Hang Seng Index gained as much as 1% during the session.
