Nasdaq has issued a non-compliance notice to Gulf Resources, Inc. after the company failed to file its quarterly report for the period ended June 30, 2026. The notice cites Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires listed companies to submit periodic financial reports to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on time.
The company, which operates bromine and crude salt manufacturing facilities in Shouguang, China, has received multiple delinquency notifications in recent months. Gulf Resources was first notified on April 23, 2026, for failing to file its 2025 annual report on Form 10-K. A subsequent notice on May 26, 2026, highlighted the company’s delay in submitting its first-quarter 2026 Form 10-Q.
Gulf Resources has since filed amendments to its 2024 annual report and submitted the 2025 Form 10-K on August 17, 2026, resolving that specific delinquency. However, the company remains non-compliant with its first-quarter 2026 Form 10-Q filing. Nasdaq had granted an extension until August 31, 2026, to address the issue, but the company was required to supplement its compliance plan by September 3, 2026.
As of the latest notice, Gulf Resources has not filed its second-quarter 2026 Form 10-Q, leaving its compliance status unresolved. The company’s securities continue to trade on Nasdaq pending resolution of the filing requirements.
