Greece’s Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A. (OTE) repurchased 237,155 of its own shares last week under its 2026 share buyback program, spending €4.71 million at an average price of €19.87 per share.
The transactions were executed between August 17 and August 21, 2026, with the daily purchases ranging from 22,996 shares on August 21 to 66,717 shares on August 19. The average price per share varied within a narrow band of €19.75 to €20.04 over the five-day period.
Following the buyback, OTE held 2,526,760 treasury shares, representing 0.641% of its total outstanding shares. The program aligns with European Union regulations, including Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052, which govern share repurchase activities.
