Gorilla Gold Mines (GG8) outlined its growing portfolio of Western Australian gold assets at the Resources Rising Stars Gold Coast Conference on September 8–9, 2026, highlighting a self-described rapid build of 1.5 million ounces of gold resource within two years.
The company's North Coolgardie Hub, located roughly an hour north of Kalgoorlie, carries a total resource of approximately 1.2 million to 1.3 million ounces grading between 3.7 and 4.0 grams per tonne. The company entered the area with an initial resource base of just 50,000 ounces. The broader hub encompasses several projects: the Comet Vale project holds a 400,000-ounce resource, including a discovery hole in the Sovereign footwall lode that returned 9 meters at 20 grams per tonne. The nearby Mulwarrie project contains 350,000 ounces within defined resource boundaries, situated about 50 kilometers from Comet Vale and 9 kilometers from the Ora Banda Mill. The Lakeview Discovery moved from finding to defined resource in roughly one year across 4.5 kilometers of strike in its structural system.
About 300 kilometers north of the North Coolgardie Hub sits the Vivien Hub near Agnew, roughly 4 kilometers from Gold Fields' Agnew mill. That property was last mined by Ramelius Resources in 2023, which previously extracted 350,000 ounces at an average grade of 6 grams per tonne from the site.
Gorilla Gold Mines is running a 150,000-meter drilling program across its project suite. Management identified approximately 60 kilometers of strike targets company-wide, with about 5 kilometers of that drilled to date within the North Coolgardie resource area. Metallurgical testing indicates non-refractory gold that achieves 90% to 95% recovery through standard carbon-in-pulp processing. All projects sit on granted mining leases with advanced permitting status.
On the financial side, the company ended its most recent quarter with AUD 20 million in cash, a debt-free balance sheet, and a current ratio of 11.69. Market capitalization stands at approximately $169 million. Board and management collectively own about 20% of the business.
Shares closed at $0.295, down 7.81% from the prior close of $0.32. The stock has traded between $0.275 and $0.575 over the past 52 weeks and has declined 38% year to date as of the conference.
The board includes Dean Hely, Simon Lawson, Kelvin Flynn, Craig Jones, and Alex Hewlett.
