FTI Consulting Inc. (NYSE: FCN) appointed Luis Roman as senior managing director of its Construction, Projects & Assets practice within the firm’s Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment.

Roman brings more than 30 years of experience in construction and project management, including over 25 years focused on construction forensics. He most recently served as managing director at HECT Consulting and previously spent more than 20 years with Navigant Consulting in its Global Construction practice.

He is a Certified Cost Professional and Planning and Scheduling Professional and has been listed on the Lexology Index Arbitration Expert Witnesses list as well as in the Lexology Index Brazil report.

In his new role, Roman will advise owners, contractors, law firms and developers on claims involving schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity losses, contract disputes and damages quantification. His scope covers construction forensics, claims and disputes, schedule analysis, delay causation, productivity assessments, cost estimating and expert testimony across the power, energy, oil and gas, transportation, industrial, commercial and residential sectors globally.

He has appeared before arbitration forums including the Permanent Court of Arbitration, International Chamber of Commerce, Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, Camara de Arbitraje de Santiago and the American Arbitration Association.

FTI Consulting, based in Washington, employs more than 8,100 people across 32 countries and territories. The firm generated $3.8 billion in revenues during fiscal year 2025.
