The stock, last trading at $171.86, remains within 1% of its 52-week peak, reflecting sustained investor confidence. The company’s market capitalization has expanded to $126 billion, supported by a gross margin of 80% and a 116.93% gain over the past 12 months.
Fortinet reported a 33% increase in billings to $2.37 billion and a 26% rise in revenue to $2.05 billion for the latest period. Product revenue surged 52% to $773 million, underscoring strong performance in core security solutions. The company’s recent acquisition of Virtue AI, an enterprise AI security platform, aims to bolster its position in the rapidly evolving AI-driven cybersecurity market, though financial terms were not disclosed.
Analysts have responded to the company’s growth trajectory by revising price targets upward. Rosenblatt raised its target to $195, followed by Cantor Fitzgerald at $185, Stifel at $175, and Scotiabank at $163. In total, 37 analysts have adjusted earnings estimates higher for the upcoming period, reflecting broad-based optimism.
