Remittance startup Félix announced a $200 million Series C funding round co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and General Catalyst.
What happened
The financing comprises an $87 million equity investment led by A16z, alongside participation from QED Investors, Castle Island Ventures, Switch Ventures, Contour Venture Partners, and Endeavor Catalyst. Additionally, General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund committed $113 million in debt to support the company's growth.
Key figures
Founded in 2020 by Manuel Godoy and Bernardo García, the Miami-based enterprise has accumulated nearly $300 million in total funding to date. The current round follows a $75 million Series B led by QED Investors in 2025. While specific financial valuations were not fully disclosed, the company reported that its valuation increased threefold since the previous Series B financing.
Context
Félix expanded its revenue more than 2.5 times over the past year and reports having processed over $8 billion in transactions. Globally, fintech startups raised $28.6 billion during the first half of 2026, marking a 22.7% increase compared to the first half of 2025, though down 17.3% from the second half of last year.
