Shares of Australian IT services provider Data#3 Ltd. jumped as much as 18% to a record A$11.10 on Monday, outpacing a 0.6% gain in the broader ASX 200 index.
The surge followed the release of the company’s fiscal 2026 results, which showed pretax profit rose 14% year-over-year to A$78.8 million, equivalent to approximately $56.5 million. Revenue increased 6.4% to A$907.3 million, while the board declared a full-year dividend of 31.75 Australian cents per share, a 13% increase from the prior year.
Data#3 attributed the earnings growth to rising demand for infrastructure, AI, software, and cybersecurity consultancy services. The company noted that accelerating artificial intelligence adoption had driven increased client spending across its core offerings. The stock’s performance reflected broader investor optimism toward technology services firms benefiting from AI-related business expansion.
