CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. surged 12.6% in after-hours trade on Wednesday after reporting adjusted earnings per share of $0.31 for fiscal Q2 2027, exceeding the $0.29 consensus estimate. Revenue reached $1.47 billion, topping the $1.44 billion Wall Street target.
The cybersecurity company also raised its full-year fiscal 2027 earnings guidance, extending its streak of eight consecutive quarterly EPS beats. Shares, which had closed at $185.38 in regular trading, climbed to $213.10 in extended hours, nearing the 52-week high of $227.50.
Morgan Stanley maintained its Overweight rating ahead of the results, citing momentum across Next-Gen SIEM, Falcon Flex, endpoint, cloud, and identity products. Of the 50 analysts covering CrowdStrike, 33 held Strong Buy ratings.
The broader market showed little movement, with the S&P 500 up 0.1%, the Nasdaq gaining 0.1%, and the Dow rising 0.3%.
