LONDON — CQS New City High Yield Fund Limited has issued 1 million new ordinary shares at 50.4 pence each, raising approximately £504,000 in cash. The shares, of no par value, were issued from the company’s blocklisting facility and will be formally allotted on Thursday, following Monday’s agreement.
The issuance increases the fund’s total issued share capital to 713,351,858 ordinary shares, with no shares held in treasury. The new total also represents the aggregate number of voting rights in the company, according to regulatory disclosures.
Manulife CQS Investment Management serves as the fund’s investment manager, while BNP Paribas S.A., Jersey Branch acts as company secretary and administrator. Singer Capital Markets LLP acted as broker for the transaction.
The updated share count may be used by investors to assess whether they must notify their interest or changes in holdings under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
