Canopy Services, a residential roofing platform backed by Trivest Partners, has standardized its operations by adopting ServiceTitan’s contractor software platform. The move consolidates sales, production, customer management, and reporting functions into a single system, enabling consistent workflows across its portfolio of roofing brands. ServiceTitan’s platform was tailored to address the unique demands of roofing projects, including longer project timelines and complex production workflows, which traditional field service software often struggled to accommodate.
The integration has yielded measurable improvements in four key operational metrics: call center booking rates, cancellation rates, close rates, and average ticket size. According to Canopy, these enhancements reflect a more streamlined approach to project management, reducing administrative overhead and improving customer satisfaction. Tim Russell, CEO of Canopy Services, emphasized the platform’s ability to support localized market operations while maintaining operational alignment across the company’s brands. ‘Roofing has distinct operational needs that traditional software often doesn’t fully address,’ Russell stated. ‘ServiceTitan gives us the flexibility to serve our customers effectively while maintaining a unified operational framework.’
Adam Vaillancourt Roofing & Gutters, one of Canopy’s brands, saw immediate benefits in its operations under the new system. Scott Knuckles, General Manager of the company, noted that sales, production, and leadership teams now operate with real-time, shared data, reducing the need for manual updates and allowing teams to focus more on customer delivery. The adoption follows Canopy’s growth strategy, aiming to scale its residential roofing business through operational efficiency and localized market engagement.
ServiceTitan’s platform, traded on NASDAQ under the ticker TTAN, has been adapted to support roofing-specific workflows, including project scheduling, material procurement, and field team coordination. The move aligns with broader trends in the contractor software space, where specialized platforms are increasingly being deployed to address niche industry needs beyond traditional service-based models.
