Callan JMB Inc. said Andy Weigman will lead oil and gas acquisitions at its Callan Power subsidiary, effective upon the closing of a previously announced asset purchase from Reger Oil Inc.
Weigman, who brings 14 years of experience in the Williston Basin, previously spent nine years at Northern Oil and Gas Inc., most recently as an asset manager focused on acquisitions and due diligence. He also co-founded two non-operated oil and gas investment funds, sourcing opportunities across more than 900 wells.
The appointment aligns with Callan Power’s strategy to build a non-operated acquisition platform in the Williston Basin, targeting small working-interest positions in wells operated by others. The company’s initial transaction involves a non-operated working interest in assets spanning North Dakota and Montana, where Weigman’s expertise is concentrated.
Callan Power, a subsidiary of Callan JMB, provides logistics, preparedness, and critical-infrastructure services to healthcare, government, and commercial clients. Mike Reger, president of Callan Power, highlighted Weigman’s regional experience as a key asset for the planned platform.
