CAE appoints Bruce Ross to board, releases shareholder vote results
Aerospace and defense firm CAE adds former Royal Bank of Canada executive Bruce Ross to its board. Shareholder votes show approval for executive pay and other proposals.

CAE Inc. announced the appointment of Bruce Ross to its board of directors, effective immediately. Ross, former vice chair and head of technology, media and telecom at the Royal Bank of Canada, brings executive experience to the aerospace and defense technology company.
The company also disclosed results from its annual general meeting, where shareholders voted on executive compensation and other corporate matters. Proposals related to the election of directors, advisory vote on executive compensation, and approval of the auditors received majority support, according to a regulatory filing.
CAE, which provides simulation technologies and training services for aviation and defense sectors, did not disclose additional details on Ross's role or committee assignments within the board. The appointment follows ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and strategic oversight amid evolving industry dynamics.
