London, UK – C2N Diagnostics announced a partnership with Cambridge Cognition Holdings to offer a combined Alzheimer’s disease diagnostic service in the United Kingdom. The joint offering merges C2N's PrecivityAD2 blood test, which measures amyloid‑beta and tau protein isoforms to generate an Amyloid Probability Score, with Cambridge Cognition's CANTAB Pathway digital touchscreen cognitive assessment platform designed for clinical use.
The service will be delivered through The Alzheimer’s Trust, which provides a national network of phlebotomy and MRI facilities. UK healthcare professionals can order both the PrecivityAD2 test and the CANTAB Pathway via The Alzheimer’s Trust for patients presenting with cognitive impairment.
C2N obtained UK medical device registration for PrecivityAD2 from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in 2025, marking its first global in‑vitro diagnostic approval. The partnership aims to alleviate the dementia diagnosis crisis in the UK, where an estimated 982,000 people live with dementia and more than 76,000 deaths occur annually, making it the leading cause of death. The Alzheimer’s Society reports an average three‑and‑a‑half‑year wait from symptom onset to diagnosis.

The integrated approach leverages existing infrastructure, allowing clinicians to combine a blood‑based biomarker test with a validated cognitive assessment, potentially shortening diagnostic pathways and improving early detection of Alzheimer’s disease.
