Builders FirstSource Inc. led a $25.3 million Series A financing round for Digs as the sole lead investor, according to a filing on Tuesday.
The Irving, Texas-based construction supplies company operates 565 locations across 43 states and serves more than 140,000 customers. Digs, headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, provides an AI-powered platform to builders, contractors, designers, trade partners, vendors, and homeowners nationwide.
Under a five-year commercial agreement, Builders FirstSource will integrate Digs' AI technology into its digital ecosystem to consolidate construction documents into a unified platform. The partnership plans to introduce features such as AI chat, e-signatures, AI-powered diagramming, finish selections, and homeowner handoff and warranty management tools.
Peter Jackson, CEO of Builders FirstSource, said the investment reflects customer demand for seamless technology that enhances operational efficiency and improves homeowner experiences. Ryan Fink, CEO and co-founder of Digs, highlighted Builders FirstSource’s national reach, industry relationships, product data, and market scale as key factors in the collaboration.
