BTC Digital Ltd. (NASDAQ: BTCT) has completed construction of a 10-megawatt cryptocurrency mining facility in Georgia, the company announced on Monday. The facility is now approaching deployment readiness, with pre-deployment preparations and power interconnection pending.
The Georgia site is designed to support up to approximately 900,000 terahashes per second at full deployment, based on the company's planned high-efficiency mining machine configuration. Actual machine deployment and computing power levels will be adjusted according to energization progress, selected mining models, energy efficiency, network difficulty, digital asset prices and broader market conditions.
BTC Digital is pursuing a dual-engine development strategy that pairs cryptocurrency computing with AI infrastructure services. Both business lines leverage shared capabilities in power procurement, data center development and equipment deployment. The company has indicated it will progressively deploy machines based on prevailing market conditions.
The facility in Georgia forms part of the company's broader expansion plans, which include infrastructure development in North America and the United States. BTC Digital is headquartered in Singapore.
