Renewable energy company Brenmiller Energy has rebranded as BrenX, marking a strategic shift beyond its core thermal energy storage solutions.
The company, previously listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange under the ticker BNRG, said the rebranding reflects its expansion into broader clean energy technologies. BrenX will continue to operate in thermal energy storage while diversifying into adjacent sectors, including grid-scale energy solutions.
BrenX did not disclose financial details of the transition or provide an updated business outlook. The move follows recent industry consolidation and increased competition in the renewable energy storage segment.
The rebranding comes as BrenX seeks to position itself as a more diversified player in the clean energy transition. The company’s thermal energy storage systems remain a key focus, but the expanded strategy suggests a push into complementary technologies to enhance grid stability and efficiency.
BrenX retains its existing leadership team and operational structure, with no immediate changes to its workforce or facilities planned. The company’s shares were not actively traded at the time of the announcement, and no regulatory filings have been made regarding the rebranding.
