Shareholders of Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II (NASDAQ: BBCQ) will vote next Monday on a proposed merger with Pasqal Holding SAS, a French quantum computing company. The extraordinary general meeting is set for August 25, 2026, with the record date for proxy eligibility established on August 4, 2026.
The transaction, which received U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approval on August 5, 2026, would result in Pasqal listing on Nasdaq under the terms of the business combination. The deal remains contingent on shareholder approval and other customary closing conditions.
Pasqal, founded in 2019 and headquartered in France, develops quantum computing systems using neutral atom technology. The company employs approximately 300 people and serves more than 25 clients and partners globally. Investors have provided Pasqal with over $300 million in funding to date.
Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II operates as a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) focused on executing a business combination with one or more target businesses. The merger represents a strategic move to bring Pasqal’s quantum computing technology to a public market listing.
