BlackRock Launches Canada ETF Featuring 3% Bitcoin Allocation
BlackRock Canada has introduced the IBQT fund, combining global equities with a 3% allocation to Bitcoin via its iShares Bitcoin ETF.

BlackRock Canada has launched two new exchange-traded funds in Canada, headlined by a multi-asset fund that incorporates a direct allocation to cryptocurrency.
The newly introduced fund, designated as the IBQT, integrates global equity market exposure with a 3% investment in Bitcoin. According to the firm, this digital asset allocation is achieved through BlackRock’s existing Canadian iShares Bitcoin ETF.
The offering marks an expansion of BlackRock's structured investment products in Canada, providing institutional and retail investors with a blended portfolio that merges traditional equity holdings with exposure to digital assets within a single fund structure.
