Austria's Financial Market Authority (FMA) has issued a fine against crypto platform Bitpanda for violations of the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.
According to the FMA, the regulatory infractions involved breaches of MiCA rules concerning crypto-asset white papers and marketing communications. The enforcement decision has been finalized, marking the first publicly disclosed penalty under the regulatory framework in Austria.
