Bitfinex Securities has concluded the largest tokenized capital raise in its history, securing $50 million for Luxembourg-based metals firm Alkemya Metacore SCSp.
The funding round, conducted via ALKN—a tokenized security representing limited partnership interests—exceeds Bitfinex Securities’ prior record of $30 million raised for a tokenized U.S. Treasury product. The platform has now completed seven capital raises and listed 16 assets since inception.
Alkemya’s underlying asset consists of approximately 7 million meters of 99.99% pure nickel wire, independently valued at about $1.64 billion. The company plans to use the proceeds to develop and commercialize engineered nickel products, including applications for semiconductors.
ALKN tokens will remain available to eligible investors through Bitfinex Securities until October 15, with secondary market trading contingent on the completion of Alkemya’s next fundraising tranche. The tokenization structure grants investors fractional, digitally transferable interests in the partnership, enabling Alkemya to leverage its nickel asset base for capital formation.
Bitfinex Securities operates under El Salvador’s Digital Asset Law, which provides the legal framework for tokenized securities issuance in the country.
