Bed Bath & Beyond appoints Jill Windrum as chief accounting officer
Retailer taps former Walmart executive to oversee financial reporting and compliance as it restructures operations.

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. announced the appointment of Jill Windrum as chief accounting officer, effective immediately. Windrum, previously a vice president of accounting at Walmart Inc., will report to the company’s chief financial officer and oversee financial reporting, internal controls and compliance functions.
The move comes as the home goods retailer continues to implement restructuring initiatives following a period of financial distress. Bed Bath & Beyond has been working to stabilize operations amid declining sales and liquidity challenges.
Windrum’s appointment reflects the company’s efforts to strengthen its financial governance and accounting practices during a critical phase of its turnaround strategy. Her prior experience at Walmart, a large-scale retailer with complex financial operations, positions her to address the accounting and reporting demands of a restructured Bed Bath & Beyond.
Bed Bath & Beyond did not disclose additional details regarding the appointment in its announcement.
