BD, the Franklin Lakes, N.J.-based medical technology company, named Arthur Hu executive vice president and chief information and digital officer, effective Sept. 30.
Hu succeeds Denise Russell Fleming, who will retire from BD at the end of 2026. He brings more than 25 years of experience leading global technology and digital transformation initiatives, most recently serving as senior vice president, global CIO, and chief technology and delivery officer for the Solutions and Services Group at Lenovo Group. Prior to Lenovo, Hu spent over a decade at McKinsey & Company advising organizations on technology, operations, strategy, and organizational transformation.
Tom Polen, BD’s chairman, CEO, and president, said in a statement: "Art is an exceptional technology and transformation leader with a proven track record of using digital, AI and automation to drive performance at scale."
BD employs more than 60,000 people globally and develops technologies, services, and solutions for healthcare operations.
