Ball Corporation (NYSE: BALL) said it has appointed Darlene J. Nicosia and Sherry L. Buck to its board of directors.
Nicosia, chief executive officer of Maker's Pride, joins Ball's nominating and corporate governance committee and finance committee. She brings more than three decades of experience in the food and beverage sector, including leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, where she served as president of Canada and the northeastern U.S. and as chief procurement officer, as well as earlier positions at PepsiCo and Kraft Foods Group. Nicosia served on the board of Foot Locker Inc. from 2020 to 2025, chairing its audit committee.
Buck, who retired in 2025 as chief financial officer of W. L. Gore & Associates after five years in the role, joins the audit and finance committees. She previously held CFO positions at Waters Corporation from 2017 to 2020 and at Libbey Inc. from 2012 to 2016. Buck spent nearly two decades in senior finance and operating roles at Whirlpool Corporation following her start at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She currently sits on the board of Lennox International Inc., where she chairs the audit committee.
Stuart A. Taylor II, chairman of Ball's board, said the appointments would strengthen the board's capabilities in supporting management.
Ball, headquartered in Westminster, Colo., reported 2025 net sales of $13.16 billion. The company employs approximately 16,000 people and operates more than 65 manufacturing plants and facilities worldwide.
