Aon has appointed Nadin Virani as interim chief financial officer, effective immediately, after Edmund Reese stepped down from the role. The reinsurance and professional services firm announced the leadership change on Friday.
Virani, who previously served as Aon’s chief strategy and transformation officer, will assume the CFO responsibilities on an interim basis. The company did not disclose the reasons for Reese’s departure or the duration of Virani’s interim appointment.
Aon, a global leader in risk management and insurance solutions, has not named a permanent successor for the CFO position. The interim arrangement will allow the company to continue its financial operations while evaluating long-term leadership options.
Reese joined Aon in 2018 and held the CFO role since 2021. His departure follows a period of strategic restructuring at the company, including initiatives to streamline operations and enhance digital capabilities. Virani’s appointment underscores Aon’s focus on maintaining continuity in financial leadership during the transition.
