Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has seen its annualized revenue rate climb to more than $65 billion by the end of July, according to data cited by Swiss financial outlet Cash.ch.
The San Francisco-based startup, which develops generative AI models including the Claude family, has not publicly confirmed the figure. The reported milestone reflects accelerating commercial adoption of AI tools among enterprises seeking productivity gains and automation capabilities.
Anthropic, founded in 2021 by former OpenAI researchers, has expanded its customer base to include major corporations and government agencies. The company competes directly with OpenAI, Microsoft-backed Mistral AI and other AI developers in a market projected to exceed $1 trillion by 2030.
Analysts attribute the revenue surge to robust demand for AI-powered solutions across sectors such as finance, healthcare and software development. Anthropic’s enterprise-focused pricing models and partnerships with cloud providers have further supported growth.
The company’s latest funding round in 2024 valued it at $184 billion, making it one of the most valuable AI startups globally. Revenue figures remain unaudited and are based on internal estimates, Cash.ch reported.
Anthropic’s rapid scaling underscores the intensifying competition in the AI sector, where differentiation hinges on model performance, safety features and enterprise integration capabilities.
