ANI Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ANIP) announced the appointment of Henry Gosebruch to its board of directors, effective Aug. 19. The biopharmaceutical company also said Muthusamy Shanmugam resigned from the board immediately but will continue in his executive capacity as head of research and development and chief operating officer of New Jersey operations.
Gosebruch, who has served as chief executive officer of Lakefront Biotherapeutics NV since May 2025, brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development and finance across the biopharmaceutical sector. His prior roles include president and CEO of Neumora Therapeutics Inc. from July 2023 to February 2025, and executive vice president and chief strategy officer at AbbVie from 2015 to 2023. During his tenure at AbbVie, his corporate strategy group executed over 100 transactions and investments, including the company’s acquisition of Allergan.
Before joining AbbVie, Gosebruch spent more than two decades at J.P. Morgan, most recently as co-head of North American mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a certified public accountant.
