ANI Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ANIP) announced the appointment of Henry Gosebruch to its board of directors, effective August 19. Gosebruch brings more than three decades of experience in corporate strategy, business development, and finance within the biopharmaceutical sector.
Gosebruch currently serves as chief executive officer and board member of Lakefront Biotherapeutics NV, a role he has held since May 2025. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Neumora Therapeutics Inc. from July 2023 to February 2025. From 2015 to 2023, Gosebruch held the position of executive vice president and chief strategy officer at AbbVie, where he led the Corporate Strategy Office. During his tenure, his team executed over 100 transactions and investments, including AbbVie’s acquisition of Allergan.
His early career included more than 20 years at J.P. Morgan, where he most recently served as co-head of North American mergers and acquisitions. Gosebruch holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a certified public accountant.
The appointment follows the resignation of Muthusamy Shanmugam from ANI Pharmaceuticals’ board, effective immediately. Shanmugam remains with the company in his executive management roles as head of research and development and chief operating officer of New Jersey operations.
