Amrize Ltd (NYSE: AMRZ) appointed Mario Gross as president of its Building Envelope segment, effective Sept. 11, 2026, the company announced.
Gross succeeds Jake Gosa, who is stepping down from the role. Jan Jenisch, chairman and CEO, praised Gross as "an exceptional leader with deep operational expertise" and thanked Gosa for his contributions.
Gross has served as Amrize's chief supply chain officer and a member of its executive committee since the company listed on the NYSE in June 2025. He was chief operating officer of the Building Envelope business from 2024 to 2025, where he led operations to establish the segment as a leading provider of commercial and residential roofing, weatherproofing and insulation systems. Prior to joining Amrize, he held various commercial and operational roles at Holcim and Sika.
Amrize, which achieved $11.8 billion in revenue in 2025, describes itself as a building-products company serving professional builders across North America. It operates more than 1,000 sites and employs approximately 19,000 people, delivering products and services in every U.S. state and Canadian province across infrastructure, commercial and residential construction markets. The company is listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and the SIX Swiss Exchange.
The announcement included standard forward-looking-statement cautions tied to Amrize's separation from former parent Holcim Ltd, noting risks around realized synergies, margin expansion, customer relationships and potential tax liabilities arising from the spin-off.
