altFINS j.s.a. and BitPath Holdings, Inc. announced a partnership to launch a second-generation digital asset treasury strategy powered by artificial intelligence analytics. The collaboration integrates altFINS’s institutional-grade crypto analytics and portfolio management infrastructure with BitPath’s expanding focus on cryptocurrency investments.
Under the agreement, BitPath issued 2,561,822 restricted common shares to altFINS, representing approximately 4.9% of BitPath’s outstanding common shares. BitPath retains the option to invest up to two million euros in altFINS, which could increase its ownership stake to as much as 22% upon full exercise. In return, altFINS will receive a 1.25% management fee on BitPath’s crypto portfolio, alongside performance-based incentives tied to portfolio profitability.
altFINS will oversee BitPath’s crypto exchange accounts, provide weekly performance reports, and deliver strategic guidance under the new Gen 2 Digital Asset Treasury (Gen 2 DAT) strategy. The initiative shifts from traditional single-asset “buy and hold” models toward a diversified, AI-driven approach that employs long and short positions across blockchain and AI-related projects, including Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, decentralized finance, decentralized physical infrastructure networks, and real-world asset tokenization.
Richard Fetyko, founder and CEO of altFINS, emphasized the evolution beyond passive treasury management, stating that early models exposed companies to unnecessary concentration risk and volatility. “Through our partnership with BitPath, we are setting a new standard for Gen 2 treasury management—empowering corporate balance sheets with institutional-grade analytics, active risk management, and a diversified, data-driven multi-asset strategy,” he said.
BitPath, originally a biotechnology company developing mRNA-based treatments for rare diseases such as acute myeloid leukemia, has pivoted toward cryptocurrency and social media investments. Its offerings include the crypto social network and token platform beta.mophoe.com. Vik Grover, CEO of BitPath, highlighted the regulatory and institutional tailwinds shaping the crypto market, including a U.S. Congressional hearing on the Clarity Act scheduled for September 15, 2026, and proposed SEC exemptions for crypto capital raises. “The age of Gen 1 digital asset treasuries will be eclipsed by active management and Gen 2 platforms using AI,” Grover said.
altFINS’s platform provides tools including a Crypto Screener scanning thousands of assets using over 150 technical indicators, AI-detected chart patterns, trading signals with entry, exit, and stop-loss levels, a data API, and custom trading indicators. The partnership reflects broader industry trends toward AI integration and active portfolio management in digital asset treasury strategies.
BitPath trades on the OTC market under the ticker BPTH.
