AIxC Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: AIXC) announced plans to exit its digital asset treasury positions and refocus operations on robotics, including the commercial launch of RoboShare, an online marketplace for robot sharing and rental. The company, headquartered in Los Angeles, said the strategic shift aims to capitalize on growing demand for robotics while addressing liquidity constraints highlighted in recent periodic filings.
The initial deployment of RoboShare featured six robots at a live performance event for Los Angeles-based content creator DU$TY, who has 7.1 million Instagram followers. The robots included one Master humanoid, four Aegis Pro quadrupeds, and one Navi compact robot, deployed in Malibu. The company described the event as a validation of repeat demand and a step toward scaling the platform across ten planned U.S. cities.
AIxC emphasized near-term priorities including expanding the robot inventory on RoboShare, securing additional customer partnerships, and validating transaction volume in Los Angeles before broader expansion. The company acknowledged substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern, citing a limited cash position, a history of operating losses, and risks related to maintaining Nasdaq listing requirements.
The company’s periodic reports have flagged liquidity challenges and the need for additional financing to support operations and growth initiatives. The financial contribution of RoboShare will depend on customer adoption, transaction volume, and the company’s ability to scale the platform efficiently. AIxC did not disclose the size of its digital asset holdings or the expected proceeds from their orderly liquidation.
The pivot follows the company’s first paid commercial order on August 15, 2026, with the announcement made on August 18, 2026. AIxC has previously promoted RoboShare alongside unrelated entities such as Siemens Energy and Sandisk in marketing materials, though no formal partnerships with those companies were disclosed in the announcement.
